Help when you need it
Find troubleshooting, account guidance, and data-deletion instructions without sharing your password or unnecessary training footage.
1. Contact support
Email service@special314.com for product support, privacy requests, or account-deletion help. This mailbox is monitored by Special Pie Technology Ltd.
Include the App version, device model, operating-system version, the action you were trying to complete, and the exact error text. A screenshot of a non-sensitive error screen can help.
2. Video selection and analysis
- Confirm that the source file uses a supported format and can be played locally on your device.
- Review the shot-confirmation screen and adjust detections before saving the session.
- If processing fails, record the source format, video duration, device model, and whether the failure occurred during import, detection, or export.
- Shot detection is not guaranteed to be complete or accurate. Always review important results manually.
3. BLE timer and Live Camera
ShotTrack currently supports the SP M1A2 Timer using the M1A2+ protocol. Device names follow the format SP M1A2 Timer XXXX. Compatibility with other models or firmware is not implied.
- Enable Bluetooth and grant only the permissions requested by your device for timer scanning and connection.
- Keep the timer nearby and confirm that it is powered on.
- For camera or microphone errors, review the App's permission settings and confirm that another App is not exclusively using the camera.
- Contact support with the timer model and firmware version if a supported device cannot connect.
4. Sign-in and verification email
- Check spam and junk folders for signup or recovery codes.
- Wait for the resend cooldown before requesting another code.
- Confirm that you entered the same email address used to create the account.
- If a code expires, request a new one rather than sharing it with anyone.
Transactional signup and recovery email is delivered through Resend. The public support contact remains service@special314.com.
5. Exports and sharing
Exported videos and images are created locally. Review shooter names, event details, timing data, QR codes, and other visible information before saving to your gallery or sharing through Facebook or another service.
Deleting your ShotTrack account does not retract media already exported or shared. Use the destination platform's own deletion controls.
6. Account and data
Your cloud-backed account and training metadata are different from media stored on your device. Read the privacy and data breakdown for retention, permissions, and third-party processing.
The section below explains how to delete your account, what successful deletion covers, and how to get help if you cannot sign in.
7. Delete your ShotTrack account
Before deleting
- Sign in to the account you want to delete and connect to the internet.
- Export anything you want to keep and understand where that exported copy will remain.
- If you share a device, verify the account shown in Profile before continuing.
- Deleting the App alone does not request deletion of cloud account records.
Delete in the App
- Open Profile. Sign in and open your ShotTrack profile.
- Open Account. Follow Profile → Account → Delete Account.
- Read the permanent-deletion warning. The App explains that cloud records and local video files will be deleted.
- Type
DELETEto confirm. Enter the confirmation phrase exactly as requested and continue. - Wait for completion. The service deletes the account, cleans associated local session files, and signs you out.
If the process fails, do not assume that the account was deleted. Check the error and use the troubleshooting guidance below.
What successful deletion covers
| Area | Successful deletion behavior |
|---|---|
| Account and profile | Deletes the authenticated account and its associated profile through the supported account-deletion function. |
| Cloud records | Deletes supported cloud records through account ownership and cascade relationships, including shooter profiles, sessions, shots, comparisons, and notifications. |
| Local timer records | Deletes the deleted account's remembered timer connection details from this device. Other local accounts' timer records are not removed. |
| Local session files | Deletes associated local training-video files and related local sidecars handled by the App's session-file cleanup flow. |
| Login throttle cleanup | The reviewed account-deletion migration includes cleanup of the relevant email-based login-throttle record. Time-based cleanup also applies to security rate-limit records. |
| Sign-in session | Signs you out after the cloud and local deletion steps complete. |
Some local preferences and records required by law may have separate lifecycle rules. Review the retention section for the public retention policy.
What deletion does not retract
Account deletion does not retract media or information that has already left ShotTrack's control. This includes gallery exports, copied or backed-up files, videos or statistics cards posted to Facebook, and content shared with another person or service.
Use the gallery, backup service, recipient, Facebook, or other platform's own deletion and privacy controls. Public/operational Pro content that was not your private account data is not deleted as part of your account.
If deletion fails or you cannot sign in
- Check your internet connection and try again.
- Check whether the account still appears before retrying; a failed response does not always mean no deletion occurred.
- Contact support with the App version, device model, approximate time, and exact non-sensitive error text.
First complete the account-recovery process. If that is not possible, email service@special314.com from the address associated with the account where possible. We may verify control of that email address through a verification message. Do not send your password or full identity documents.
Privacy and manual-deletion requests receive a response within the period required by applicable law, normally within 30 days. Identity verification must be proportionate to the request.
Successful deletion does not guarantee restoration of old data if you register the same email again. A new registration is treated as a new account.
